Left Turn Jewelry is proud to be the first jewelry retailer for Fashion Fridays at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant. Left Turn necklaces are one-of-a-kind that have been designed by Laguna Beach artist Judy Klimek. Because each necklace is an original art piece, no two necklaces are alike. Once a design is sold, it’s unfortunately gone.

Emeralds have been considered elite gems since the time of Cleopatra. They have the most beautiful, most intense and most radiant green on earth. Inclusions are well tolerated and even add character to this fantastic crystals. Fine emeralds can even be more valuable than diamonds. Emeralds can be engraved, carved, cut into cabochons (highly polished without facets), or faceted, and made into beads. They are also polished in nugget shapes or kept in natural crystal shapes for dramatic appeal.
The finest of emeralds continue to come from Columbia, however other countries can rival in quality such as Zambia, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Russia, Pakistan and India. The value of an emerald is determined by the depth of color, the clarity, the size and weight and cut. Material should be selected for the best color and for inclusions that speak the right character for you.
ATTRIBUTES: Emeralds are a stone of inspiration and infinite patience. It is a life-affirming stone with great integrity. Known as the “stone of successful love,” it can bring domestic bliss and loyalty.
The green of the emerald is the color of life and of the springtime, which is inspiration behind Judy’s Eucalyptus Necklace design. An adventurous necklace that is bold, daring and remarkably colorful with hiddenite, emerald nuggets and vermeil.
Crystalline quartz is sometimes penetrated by slender needles or even large threads of various minerals, creating mesmerizing patterns. The needlelike inclusions in quartz are often referred to rutilated quartz or tourmalinated quartz. The quartz crystals can have extremely fine needles or rather wide tubular needles in varying colors such as gold, black, brown, green, yellow, blue, pink or white. Quartz crystals may also have metal inclusions such as pyrite, marcasite, and silver. Currently the most preferred rutilated quartz is mined out of Brazil, but also historically Switzerland, Mexico and Russia have produced very good quality quartz crystals.
ATTRIBUTES: These beautiful threadlike inclusions in quartz crystals create an effective grounding stone that strengthens the body’s own energy field, aura and increases problem-solving skills. Tourmalinated quartz belongs to zodiac sign of Scorpio.
