JUDY KLIMEK
Designer and visionary for Left Turn, Judy Klimek is responsible for all design, production, and quality control functions. On any given day, you will find Judy working in her Laguna Beach workshop creating a variety of necklace designs, sometimes reworking a single piece 10 times until it feels just right.
Judy also oversees the purchasing of gemstones, meeting one-on-one with a network of dealers and buyers to find unique gemstones that have become the signature of Left Turn. In fact, Judy’s buyers travel to Asia and South America as much as five times a year finding the quality gemstones that makes Left Turn necklaces extraordinary.
She brings 25 years of gemstone necklace design and GIA training to Left Turn. In her previous work life, Judy built a highly successful multi-million dollar electronics component business, managed hundreds of people and serviced customers all over the world.
Judy’s strong commitment and passion brings beautiful gemstone necklaces to customers who want something different, something unique and something interesting. After traveling the world, Judy could not find Left Turn quality necklaces anywhere, so she decided to build them herself. True to her company name, Judy has decided to take a Left Turn.
